Amazon Associates

Amazon.com's Affiliate program is a powerful suite of tools that bloggers can use to integrate links to products for sale on the Amazon web site into their own posts. If a reader's clicks generate a sale then the blogger is awarded a commission. I just started using this tool and am interested to see what kind of profits this tool is capable of generating. I will keep you updated.

GENERATE CONTENT

Generating enough content is key in attracting affiliate advertisers. Generating content will give you more space to put ads on, and more of a share of the internet as a whole will make it more likely that search engine users will stumble across one of your pages.

Blogging daily is important. Make sure to label your posts as well so that search engines will ping them.

Do your research... Search, search, search

Once you’ve decided on which niche is right for you…i.e. action movies, sushi preparation, or even   , if you think you’ll have more to write than you have time to live, you should be alright.

Scour the web daily for news about your topic and let your audience know what’s going on out there. After a few weeks you should have the hang of blogging basics and can begin to search for advertisers who will pay you for posting their ads on your blog.

Finding your place

Look at affiliate marketing like this...you're a little fish in a big sea. Starting up any kind of business is never easy and you will find that earning serious money comes with months and months of hard work. This is definitely not be the kind of hard work that you're used to. If reading articles and watching videos about topics that you enjoy and then writing about what you find enjoy sounds like appealing work to you then affiliate marketing is most definitely for you.

Zeroing in on something you can write about on a daily basis may not be as easy as it sounds. You may enjoy a topic but there may be limited information you have to write on that topic. You want a niche where there is a constant update of information relating to the field. This way you'll never run out of things to write about. Think about publishing a few blogs per day until you have upwards of a few hundred making on update at least daily to each. Think of your blogs as individual workers. The more workers you have in the field, the more money they can be out there making for you. A large pool of interconnected blogs creates a web that spiders like you can use to feed.
